Forgot to mention. HD Pro 2014.
By the way, I'm talking about changing the wall height/ceiling height on an entire floor. First floor.
make sure you are on the floor concerned then go to Edit>defaults>Floor>and change the Finished ceiling height to 120" , uncheck the default button 1st. should work if you haven't changed any wall heights manually yet ? they will stay at whatever you set them at , all walls still in Auto mode should "pop up" to 120"

this view is with the nine foot ceilings
Attachment 14646
this view is after changing the default to 120".
seems to have raised the ceilings inside the existing roof without making the walls taller.
help
I realize the pictures are blank. Not sure why.
The ceilings seem to go up, but I expected the roof to go up too.
In one room the ceiling went up, leaving the crown molding at nine feet.
In another room with a cathedral ceiling and windows in what would be the attic area, the walls moved up into the window.
The roof(s) didn't go up.
Roof planes do NOT automatically respond to Room Specification Dialog changes unless you have "Auto-Build Roofs" command "ON", otherwise you will have to order the roofs built using the new settings in a new unit of time.
In this software some things auto update and some do not.

Yes you have Pro , so you need to "rebuild the Roof" , the Auto Roofs options is obviously unchecked as David said.

Yep, that worked. Now I get to rebuild the roof planes manually. I had some already manually built and they didn't fare too well.
Thanks.
in that same DBX you can lock "manually created roof planes" before you rebuild roofs.......no guarantee it works 100% of the time though :)
