Question pro 8 vs Chief X2 trial

I am using the free CA trail download. I love it, it takes time to learn but I can now do most projects I need. But I plan to buy Pro 8, Am I spending to much time on the trail learning things that will be different in Pro 8, or may not be there at all.

I need software that can build the outside of a spec home, then add a deck, or screen porch to. Sometimes maybe raise the roof on a garage to add a bedroom. I do small remodel, addition jobs to homes. But I need to show my customer what the finished job will look like.

Consider contacting their Sales department directly with a list of features you want that are in the trial version to see if the Home Designer Pro version has them.

I am in the the same boat. If I had the the bucks I would have pro 8 already. The one thing I have noticed is that there always seems to be a way that will produce the end results desired in pro 8.
