small double doors without a post? HD 6.04
Is there a way to create closet doors and other double doors, like "french doors" which are smaller than the six foot minimum width, without ending up with a vertical post or door strike area, in the middle? This applies to Home Designer 6.04.
Thanks! The one with the most toys, at the end....wins (Avatar is of '64 Chevy Nova SS)

I don't quite understand the question.
Any door over 4' will automatically turn into a double door and we don't put a post in the middle. To get a post you would need to place two doors side by side.
I'm also confused about the 6' min width. As far as I know you can create doors down to 6 inches in width.Dan Park

36 " opening, double french doors
I have an opening thats 36" wide and I have 2 - 18" wide doors in this space without a post in the middle. I can't get that in Deluxe version 7.08. As soon as I drop under 48" he program automatically makes this a SINGLE door. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

A bifold door might work for the 3D views. You don't have the option for double doors until you get to PRO or Chief Architect.
