small double doors without a post? HD 6.04

Is there a way to create closet doors and other double doors, like "french doors" which are smaller than the six foot minimum width, without ending up with a vertical post or door strike area, in the middle? This applies to Home Designer 6.04.
    Thanks!

I don't quite understand the question.

Any door over 4' will automatically turn into a double door and we don't put a post in the middle. To get a post you would need to place two doors side by side.

I'm also confused about the 6' min width. As far as I know you can create doors down to 6 inches in width.

See! There's a very useful tip -- I've already done a dozen closets with separate doors and multiple flips to get them properly positioned...

36 " opening, double french doors

I have an opening thats 36" wide and I have 2 - 18" wide doors in this space without a post in the middle. I can't get that in Deluxe version 7.08. As soon as I drop under 48" he program automatically makes this a SINGLE door. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

A bifold door might work for the 3D views. You don't have the option for double doors until you get to PRO or Chief Architect.
