    "Merging" objects in AHD?

I am having a problem with getting multiple objects to occupy the same relative space.

For example, trying to push a chair in under a dining room table.

In HD 7.0 you could simply hit the shift key while selecting an object to cause it to ignore spatial relationships in regards to other objects when being moved.

This would allow you to put say, a chair in under a table or to create "nested" tables of three different sizes to occupy the same relative space as the larger object.

"Shift"-selecting doesn't seem to work in AHD for allowing this. Is there some other combination of keys I need to hit to make this work?

Use the Control key on your keyboard to override snap settings, not Shift (pretty sure it was the same key in prior version 7 as well).

You can use Shift when group-selecting more than one object.
