how to change the color of deck planking?

No matter what I do my deck planking remains the default color.

This seems as if it ought to be a no-brainer.

So, have you tried changing the default material for the deck planking?

Edit> Default Settings> General Materials> Deck Planking

I had not tried this. After reviewing your remarks, I went into the defaults and changed the default setting. It now works. Thanks for the help. ecl1dcb
