    Create your own templates

I'm using Home Designer Suiite 9.0. And I have watched the tutorial on How to Create your own templates about 6 times. But I cannot get mine to work. It looks like in the tutorial he starts with a file he has already created. When I choose a template like he says I get a different results then him. Also I do not have a wrinch icon to show the default settings. What am I doing wrong?

I need to figuare this out right away. So any help is greattly appreciated.

What you are doing is taking an existing template(plan) and changing the defaults to your choose.
Save the plan with a name you want.
When starting a new plan, use that one and save it under a new name.
This makes a copy of it so you can use the original again..

With Chief you can put the plan in the template folder, not sure if you can in the home versions.

Look under the Edit menu, you will see the wrench next to Default Settings.
