I'm fairly certain that your roof design is somewhat straightforward, and the automatic roof build option should do what you want ... provided (yeah, there is always a catch) ... provided you have all the wall specification roof settings properly assigned. The good thing is that you have Pro, and you can manually adjust the individual roof planes if the software gets confused by what you want it to do (based on what it is told to do). Learning how to make manual roof plane adjustments is a worthy endeavor and is likely time well spent.

Eureka!!

I found the Edit behaviors button and all was right with the world. Here's a sample of the near finished product.

I'm trying to build a ground level entry into the basement next with a small gable roof next.
