    Irregularly shaped walkway

Pro 9.0--I'm trying to draw an irregularly shaped walkway. And, I want to be able to fill the walkway with a stone pattern in 2D.

First, I tried using the sidewalk tool and line breaks to bend the sidwalk but it never comes out right.

So then, I read that I could create a polyline and fill it. I can make the curves using the spline tool. And if I use straight lines along the driveway and stairs, I can create a polyline. But I can't figure out how to connect the straight lines to the spline lines to close the polyline. Is there a way to do that?

    Thanks!
    Happy Thanksgiving!

Start with a Rectangular or Kidney shaped Feature and use the Change Line/Arc and Break Line tools to create whatever shape you need. Basically the same as creating road markings but with a different material like in this Help Database article: http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/...?faqNumber=864

I saved the image you attached and imported it into the program and used these tools to basically just trace over it. The image definitely comes in larger than you actually want it drawn, but you could resize it.
