Custom First Floor Slab

Hi, does anyone know how to make a custom shaped slab that can be used as a suspended slab for an irregular shaped first floor? The problem I have is how to cut a hole in the slab for a staircase. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

Which software title and version are you trying to use?

I made the slab shown below in Pro 8 using the break line tool. I started with a rectangular slab, then used the break line tool to cut one side (i.e., the side with the hole) and extended the slab into an "L" shape; I then used the break line tool again and extended the slab into a "U" shape; and finally, I used the break line tool one last time and extended the slab to itself.

Thanks for your reply. It certainly looks as though it will work. I'm using V8. I'll give it a try.
