Different sized gable, within gable.

Hi, I'm using Home Designer 8, and I'm trying to make a house, based on a picture.

If you look on the left of the picture, there are two gables. One (smaller, off-centered, and lower one) inside a larger higher up gable. I understand that to change the heights of the gables you have to change the ceiling heights of the rooms?

This doesn't quite make sense though, as, if you look at my plan so far, the rooms and hallways are all separate rooms and I'm just not sure how to change where the gables go.
