Please Help Open Rafter Patio Cover

Designer Pro VER 9 I cannot figure out how to show the rafters in the patio cover. My customer wants an open rafter patio cover. Like to show rafters beams and posts. I have tried to lower the roof build the framing then raise it just will not work. I do not have the time to build each rafter with the soffit tool. Please help.

Is the "patio cover" made up of roof planes?

In the Pro 9 trial version, I was able to create the attached image by building framing (but not checking automatic roof framing), use Transform/Replicate to move the Roof Plane up along the Z-axis, leaving behind the framing, which I turned on in the camera view's Display Options.

I do not have the time to build each rafter with the soffit tool. Please help.

Try the transform replicate tool after you build one.
