    Connecting Terrain Walls HD9

    Home Designer Vers. 9 Metric
I am trying to connect two terrain walls of two different hights. I have built a curved 2' wall and want to connect it to a 5' wall all of the same rock material. When I connect the short wall to the tall wall, the short wall connects to the top 2' of the tall wall and is distorted. I've attached 2 pictures of the problem.
    what do I do?

I posted earlier but deleted it in hope someone would have a better answer. Try this make the walls the same height (shorter) move the strait wall away. bring it back till it just touches. Now change its height..

Terrain walls aren't true walls, they're paths. I think what the program is
trying to do is join the pathsways (tops of the walls) together.

Dean beat me to a solution for terrain walls. I couldn't figure it out so
I came up with this alternative...

In the attachment, I used railings instead.

Set the rail type to solid (Railing tab)

Set wall (rail) heights in the Newel/Baluster tab and the thickness in the General tab

Set rails to "no room definition" if the walls are going to form a closed area.

Change rail, baluster and newel material to stone (or whatever).

This will only work on level terrain. Sloping terrain will bury the walls...

I noticed the DBX was for paths and wondered why. Thanks for the info.
