Error during installation Home Designer

Trying to install Home Designer 9.0 for the first time and received this error:

an error occured during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft VC80.OpenMP,publickeytoken='1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b',type = win32,version 8.0.50727.762, processor Architecture x86
HRESULT: 0x800736F

The installation fails and rolls back - says to contact tech support - any ideas?

If it were me? I'd contact tech support. They would be best positioned to know the inner workings and susceptibilities of their install program. Rumor has it that they don't bite either.
