Full overview goes dark when final view is activated

    Hi,

I am using the full overview view, but when I activate the final view it goes dark. Why is that and what can I do to keep it lighter like the doll house view. I am am using Home Designer Pro 9.0.

    thanks,

The lighting is most likely changing because the camera moved from outside the house to inside the house when you tilted it up. Lighting in render views does not always update instantly when your camera is moved around. We do this to keep the screen refresh faster. When you switch from preview mode to final view, the lighting will get recalculated though so that it is always up to date.

One thing you can do is tile your overview together with your floor plan view and you can see exactly where your camera is located. Move your camera so that it is not inside the building and the program will then use outdoor lighting.
