Default Wall Types

How do I change the default wall types to include anything other than dafault Wood Frame 16"OC

This depends on what product, version, and style template you are using.

In Architectural Home Designer Version 9, if you start a new plan using the Default style template, your default wall type for drawing exterior walls will be Siding-6 (a 6" wall stud with siding on the outside and wall board on the inside). If you want to change this to another wall type, you just open up the Default Settings dialog and then the Exterior/Interior Wall Defaults dialog to choose a different wall type.
