step down roof

Again, not a builder so I don't know the proper term for this. But I have attached a file.

As you can see, the peak of the garage roof exactly meets the peak of the main roof. The porch roof, on the other hand, is "stepped down". I would like the garage roof to "step down" as well.

Does it have something to do with the pitch? How do I fix this and keep the same pitch on both roofs?

I am using HD 9.0.
