registering

I have installed Home Designer V9 from the disc and entered the required registration information but when I try to send it, a popup window tells me it is unable to connect to Home Designer's server. I tried turning off my firewalls, however I still got the same popup windows. As a result, I am unable to open the main program.

Help, help.......what should I try next?
