Stair spindles?

Is there anyway to change the spindles going up and down the stair rails? The progam has a library of replacement ones, but I can not figure out how to change them.. I am using home designer suite 9 thanks!

Need to upgrade to Chief Architect to have that feature in the Staircase Specification dialog.

Otherwise you need to set your current stair newels/balusters to be the Opening(No Material) option and manually place each individual millwork item from the Library Browser.
