Countertop with curved front

I need to create a countertop or shelf which has a multiple curved front edge. This is to represent a kitchen shelf made from a tree slice. Can anyone suggest how I might go about this?

I've looked for a tool like the "break line" button in other (exterior) objects but can find nothing for shelves or countertops.

Custom Countertops are only in Architectural Home Designer, Home Designer Pro, and Chief Architect, if you upgraded they let you create just about any shape.

I'm using HDS9.0 and this does not have the Custom Countertop tool.

Then you could upgrade, or maybe find something on Google's 3D Warehouse, or create it in SketchUp, and import it into the program?
