3D Camera View Not Working (Architectural Home Designer 9.0)

    Hi,

I've just bought Architectural Home Designer 9.0 and I'm hoping a kind soul will assist this new user with a hopefully basic problem.

I'm simply trying to get any of the 3D camera views in Chief Architect "Architectural Home Designer 9.0" to work. I create a house, then try and open any of the 3d views, and I get presented with a new window that shows my 2d plan view, and the cursor changes to a sort of cross hair cursor. If I right mouse click over the 2d plan view, a 3d image does appear, but it doesnt look like what it should nor can i do anything useful with it...As soon as I let go of my right mouse button, i'm back to the 2d image.

I'm running Vista 64-bit, using an Intel i7 920 processor, an Asus/NVidia 9600 GT Silent/512 MB video card, and with 6 GB of Corsair DDR3 memory.

Any thoughts? I've been purusing the forums here and on the other Chief forums for the "professional grade" users. I've ensured i'm up to date on my video card driver. And yes, it is an Nvidia driver...

    Unhappily yours,
One disappointed user after owning this highly anticipated product for only 24 hours...

This is most likely a problem with your video card or it's drivers. See if this helps:
