    Pitched roof into gable set back from wall

    I have a single level home I am designing and am having a problem creating a gable set back from the exterior wall 4 feet with a small section of roof sloped into this gable above the garage door. The nice picture is what I have and the hand drawn image is what I am going for, any advice? I use Home designer Pro 9.
