Elovia has supplied you all the infomation required as she allways does very well. I think that what you want is called a Dutch hip. So to add to Elovia's excellent instructions are some tutorials that relate. Note you can also use a false dormer with the window removed. There was a recent thread on Chieftalk using this method.
