Loft insertion

I have Home Designer 9.0 and a search in the library does not even have the word "loft" in its search parameters. I want to create what is know in the Northwest as a "prownose" design for view purposes. The oversize dormer goes over both floors and has a loft area set back in the house. I am unable to see how to create it. Frank
