Framing view not responding to camera

When I create a framing 3-D view, the house appears, but is very, very small (very far away) - maybe an inch square. When I try to use the camera/mouse tools to move closer, though the screen says the graphics are rendering, nothing actually changes. I am using Home Designer Suite 8 - and recently updated to the latest release (this didn't happen previously). All my other camera tools are working correctly.

I think you might have an object far away from the house..
The camera shows every thing and has to try and show a larger area on your screen.
