Foundation for Decks

I have been watching the tutorials that illustrate how to create a deck. Very simple, just
[LIST=1][*]select the straight deck railing drop down[*]drag in the drawing where you want to make a deck[*]When you have completed a deck perimeter it will automatically be named as a deck[*]View the deck with the camera[*]Ouch! there is no base to the deck like is shown in the video

I need the pillars shown on the camera view. I also need the location of the pillars for constrruction folks who will be building this deck and for the materials list

Welcome to the forum, GeoCoy. Which software title are you using?

Once you have built your deck, you may or may not have the tool shown below. To see the tool, select the room defined as a deck; it should be on the Object tool bar (a multi-use tool bar that appears whenever an object is selected).
