    Interior dimensions for kitchen cabinets

Hi, I haven't posted for a while for numerous reasons and I am now starting to use the software again after a bit of time away from it.

    My questions are

1/ Can I set something in default settings that enables the dimensions of cabinets to be displayed as i insert them?

2/ Can they be positioned 'outside ' the room that i'm drawing?

3/ How can I get the join line between cabinets to show up on the floor plan so that each cabinet is defined when i want to print it out etc?

    I'm using Pro 8

This forum is awesome , so i know you'll be able to help me!

    Thanks

    Not that I know of.

You can dimension them with the manual dimension tool and drag them where you want them.

Turn the cabinets, module lines on in the layer set.

    Paul,

Dean answered your questions, but I thought I'd add to the one quoted below.

In the cabinet defaults for each cabinet type, you can choose to show the cabinet labels which contain a code that indicate the cabinet size. For example, if I look at the Base Cabinet Default Setting, under the Label tab, I see the cabinet label says it is a PBDR2436. The 24 indicates the width, and the 36 indicates the height.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, exactly, but there you are.

In the Display Options dialog, scroll down through the Cabinet section and place a check next to "Cabinet, Label" and "Cabinet, Module Lines". See the first image below.

You may choose any, but I recommend (based on your earlier post) to use either the Automatic Labels or you can Specify Label and enter your own text. See the second and third images below.

    Hope this helps.
