applying textures

Sorry for the (unexpected) uproar. I've decided to plug away with my old Suite 6.04 until I can update to Pro. In the meantime, in HD Suite 6.04, how do I apply anything in the TEXTURE library? In 3D plan, I attempt to apply a picture, wall covering, curtains, ANYTHING, and the computer waits a bit, then says it's DONE. But nothing happened. Everything else works just fine (mostly), but TEXTURE is all talk and no action.

Textures need to be used in a material. To create a material on Suite 6.04 select tool> Material List> Define materials.

Then choose the texture for that material.
