Hi Andy,
Export the elevation as a "DXF" file and import it back into a blank elevation view.
You will now be able to edit or delete each line.

Let's try another:
Sent the elevation to Layout and the dialogue only lets me send it as an image (so won't update with the plan?) and won't let me scale it, so it's not the right size on the paper. No idea why.

Thanks for that.
Don't have 'Layers' in HDP, not as I / Photoshop, etc, etc understand them anyway
Put the camera outside the terrain perimeter but didn't make any difference. Not sure about making a terrain thick, will look into that now.London, UK
