gambel roof with no wall height - similar to 'A' frame

I am trying to model a cabin with a structure similar to an 'A' frame, single story with loft, gambeled roof with wall height zero on two sides, 24' on ends. anybody have any ideas how to set this up?

I still cannot get a gambelled roof to build. A frame works, but cannot get the dual slope roof to build. Also don't seem to be able to apply exterior siding past the first floor

Combining the instructions in both articles Lamina provided should work for you, based on your description.

Just set up your walls correctly to build a Gambrel roof, and temporarily set the Finished Ceiling Height in the room to be lower until after the roof is generated correctly.

Then you can uncheck Auto Rebuild Roofs and set the Finished Ceiling Height back to the default.
