attic living space

I am deigning a Greek Revival home with th eatting as living space....when i go to place a dormer in the attic it displays it properly in 3D but it displays it on the second floor in 2D....how do i make it display on the 3rd floor in 2D???

I think dormers usually display on which ever floor you are currently drawing on. If you want your dormers to appear on your attic level in 2d you have to draw them there.
