Cannot use images from manufacturers' catalogs in library

After having to reset preferences due to problems with orthographic view, I now cannot use the manufacturers' catalogs that were previously downloaded. I tried re-importing them and the pop ups showed the download. I still cannot use these images. I restarted the software but have not totally rebooted computer. This is in Home Designer Pro 2012.
