Little Roof on 1st floor of one and one half story

I am running pro 2012. I have tried to determine what causes the little roof piece to show over the first floor corner at the blue arrow on this 1-1/2 story.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I would guess either misaligned walls between the floors, or a lower ceiling height in that area than the rest of the house.

Kat's guess is the "Gospel", (roof planes only form over enclosed spaces [space enclosed with walls = a room in this software] so you MUST have a tiny room there where you probably should not have one and its ceiling height is different from the rest of the first floor).
