Can't delete unwanted door and window elements

Doors and windows in my design have come in with fancy moldings and lintels that I don't want, but I can't figure out how to delete them. Changing the door type has no effect. I'm new to using the program, as is probably obvious. In the Materials tab the moldings are listed with names ending in "Windsor". How do I fix this?
