    Change object layers

I need to change an object to a different layer. Please tell me how to do that. (Example: I have drawn several Geometric Shapes and would like for them to be on the Base Cabinet layer.)

That feature is native to titles in the Chief Premier line, you just have to cope (work-round) in Home Designer titles, Premier can create custom layers, you can switch the layer of any object to any other layer and also create custom objects as well as named sets of layers for different purposes (Electrical layer set, Foundation Layer set, Plumbing Layer set, Framing Layer set etc), That and many other features are why Premier is more expensive.

I simply created new "saved pages" for each layer for my plans, thereby I had a page (layer) for floor plan, cabinets, electrical , etc.
Works real well with HD Arch 2012
