Is 2014 suite enough of an upgrade over 7.0 suite to warrant the $69?
I have home designer suite 7.0 and saw that I could upgrade to 2014 for $69. Is there enough benefit (I'm using Windows 8 x64) to the upgrade to warrant the cost or am I better off just sticking with what I have?
Thanks

Review the "What's New" section about Suite 2014 (there have been of course Five additional "What's New's" since version 7 so a lot has been added and improved since then). It is the kind of thing only you can decide (it is your money versus what you gain by doing so).

Thanks. I realize that it's "my call". Was just looking for some advice. I am not a power user of the software. Wanted to do some remodeling and work on some landscaping plans. Have Home Designer Suite 7 and didn't want to spend the $69 if there were not significant improvements in the program since then. I realize thigns have changed but often changes can be like " few more templates " or wall measurements now show 1/4" also. Small little things that I won't really care about. If there are farily major changes that I will definitely notice then it's worth it.

Is there a demo available that you can test drive?

To my knowledge there is no demo. They offer a money back guarantee which I guess is as good as a demo.
