Open to Below Not Working in HD Pro 2014
I have a two story home design I created in HD Pro 10. In my design the area above the great room is "Open to Below". I recently upgraded to HD Pro 2014. When I open the plan in HD Pro 2014 the great room has a ceiling. In HD Pro 10 it doesn't. How do I fix this?

On the first floor, in that room dialog be sure and uncheck "Ceiling over this room" and on the corresponding space on the second floor it should be named "Open Below".
One other thing, if the open below room is to the inside of the structure it will need to be connected to a common wall that connects with an exterior wall (either visible or invisible).
In the latest version that feature can be manually turned off (where the software automatically places an invisible wall for you), so if you plan was started in an earlier version I would look specifically for that (the connecting wall, visible or invisible) which when in place should bring back the open below condition.
I am not saying you should have to or not have to do the above, I am just saying that if it happened to me, what I would do, check for, to correct it.

Hi David,
Thank you for your quick response. "Ceiling over this room" was checked for the first floor area and I unchecked it. No change. I have attached images of the open to below area. The Family Room and 6x9 Entry are separated by an invisible wall. The 6x4 Entry is not part of the open to below area. Does this appear to you to meet the connects wath an exterior wall criteria? If not what would you suggest?
Thanks again for your help,
Gary

Send me a copy of your file and I will take a look, just from the images, it appears inexplicable.
