    32bit v 64bit

I'm running HD 2014 on a new iMac 27" with Windows 7 on Boot Camp. The spec is way in advance of the miminmum requirements in every area yet I have lots of problems. I have notced that the downloaded program refers to 32bit and my windows 7 is 64 bit. Could this be the problem or does that not matter?

The 64 bit version of Home Designer will be able to handle more data, faster.

Thanks for this David, I bought the download version of HD Pro and don't remember seeing a 64bit option. Is this something I could change/upgrade to, do you think?

All HD titles are 32 bit only. As for if there is a problem, no. 32 bit software runs quite well on 64 bit platforms.

Chief Premier is offered in either 32 or 64 bit versions but that is not true for Home Designer titles yet.

I agree with Lamina, it would be helpful for us to know what the problems are, rather than assuming they would be fixed by a 64-bit version.
