    high roof with columns over entrance

    hi All. just installed HD Pro and everything is great except one thing. i am having a hard time trying to build a higher roof over the main entrance supported by columns.Click image for larger version.

    does anyone have a relativley straight forard way of achieving this roof?

    You should be able to create a room and set the Finished Ceiling Height to be the higher value to create this.

    Of course, since you have Pro, you could also just draw the roof planes in manually as well.

    wow, thanks David. this is a house that is down the street from where we will be building in the spring. most of the houses in our area have a roof with this kind of feature. i really appreciate you doing the video.
