invisible wall being created by CA. don't know why

I am in the basement (floor 0) and drawing a final wall to a small room. when I finish the last (4th) wall, CA draws an invisible wall perpendicular to the last drawn wall and out to a basement perimeter wall. the invisible wall does NOT go through the newly created room. I can't delete the invisible wall that CA draws. not sure why the invisible wall is being drawn nor why I can't delete. help please. thanks. Art
