    Need guidance with roof

    Looking for guidance on how to fill in the floating wall area created between the two roof planes. If anything else is needed please post

    That type of wall needs to be a pony-wall, which can be set to have the upper half of the wall, an exterior wall type and the lower half an interior wall. Once manually drawn, you can custom shape the halves to suit your design in an elevation camera for each side, filling in the voids on either side of the dormers.

    Open your software.

    Open the "Build Roof Dialog".

    Left-Click on the "Roof Styles Tab".

    Select "Gable Roof" and then study and then practice what that article says in a simple model.

    Then apply that new knowledge to your own design.
