Having trouble with my wrap around porch roof

My name is Tony, I just upgraded to Home Designer Architectural 2014. I'm a newer user of the product. I have been battling 2 roof issues for the last year. I will concentrate on the first issue.
I am trying to recreate my new home. These photos show my house in real life along with my HD progress. My roof is a 6-12 pitch with a 3-12 pitch above the wrap around porch. I currently have my wrap around porch running along the front and a little around the left side of the house. I am looking to model my home with a full wrap around porch. I cant get my roof on the left side of the porch to run into the full gable of the house, it keeps running the 3-12 pitch like a hip roof. Any suggestions?
