Having trouble with my wrap around porch roof

So I worked on this porch last night and all morning today, I have gotten nowhere. I rendered these up without the roof on the side of the house. This is exactly right except for the missing roof that should be connecting the front porch roof and the back porch roof on a 3-12 pitch on the left side of the house


Then, as I was looking at those, I noticed my roof was floating (below) above the house. Are these issues related? If not, I'll cross that bridge later.
