3dconnexion compatibility with Home Designer Pro

I'm in the process of purchasing Home Designer Professional 2014 and am wondering if it's compatible with the 3dconnexion products. Anyone using the two products together or have any experience/insights with them? Thanks.

I hava a SpaceNavigator by 3dconnexion which I use with Unigraphics cad/cam software. I tried to use it on my HD pro 2012 software and found it's does not work. Nothing I did would allow the space mouse to recognize the HD software. Sorry

Thanks for the reply. A good programmable multi-button mouse is probably the better idea then.
