Tile Grout Color
Hi All, new Home Designer Pro user here. I'm having a hard time setting the grout color for a tiled backsplash. Here's what I've done so far:
- Copied the "White Tile" material to my User Catalog
- Opened the material's "Define Material" dialogue
- In "General", I changed the Material to pure white and the pattern lines to gray
- In "Texture" I checked the "Blend Material Color With Texture" option to make the tiles pure white
Even though the material and pattern look correct in the "General" pane, the gray grout lines do not seem to appear on the backsplash. Please see the attached screenshots.
What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks in advance!

Changing the "pattern" lines to grey will only adjust views in which Patterns display, which are going to be those using the Vector rendering technique, like Cross Section/Elevation views. Perspective views using the Standard rendering technique will use the Texture, which as you can see in the dialog, isn't going to show grey grout lines. You'd probably have to modify the actual image the material's texture is based on in order to make grey grout lines.

Thanks! I just figured there would be an easier way. I created a new .jpg in Fireworks with the required pattern.
