Truss material dimension
When I frame trusses in Home Designer Pro 2014, they show up made with 4x4's. I can adjust the depth but can't find where the specification is for width.

That only makes the web 1 1/2 high but still 3 1/2 wide. I reset the defaults, but the only inputs seem to be for adjusting the height of the member not the width. Somehow it seems that I have changed the default truss setting from 1x material to 4x material. Originally I drew the roof made out of 4x6 at 48" oc, but deleted that. Thanks for your response.

Actually I just figured it out. I had deleted the original 4x roof framing but did not go back and change the regular roof framing defaults to 2x, so when the new truss is created it must use the regular roof default width even though you are creating a truss.
