You still haven't clarified what you want it to look like, so I'm guessing.
My method might not be the correct way to build this? But it seems to work.
I think the dormer looks correctly built...it's the roof that is wrong. Start over with the roof.
Disconnect those interior walls so that the 3rd floor will show as only 2 rooms (the dormer room and the rest of the 3rd floor).
Set the finished roof height for the front (outer eaves) by lowering the ceiling in the large room (60"?). Set the dormer ceiling for it's finished height (107"?).
Start playing with the main roof pitch and the (front wall) dormer roof pitch. You might have to adjust the back wall of the dormer. Keep doing trial and error until you get the roof looking correct, then turn OFF "auto rebuild roof".
You can now restore the large room ceiling height (107"?) and then reconnect the interior walls.
Because your dormer walls are invisible, you will need to place wedges (in the library) to display them (one interior and one exterior)(each side).
I also needed to use the wedges for the dormer attic side walls.
Place the wedges on the attic level, then drag them down into position (in the 3D display). Placing them here will leave the 2D display of the 3rd floor not looking messy!JoAnn
