    Gabled roof with decreasing overhang size?

    As a throwback design, I have two design questions that go hand in hand. This is question 2:

    I would like a gable that increases the over hang has you move toward the peak. See pick below. Possible?

    To do precisely as your picture indicates would require either Home Designer Pro or Chief Architect Premier that have manual roof tools, a simple prow roof as communicated in Jo Ann's offered article can be done in what you have.

    Variable roof overhang is possible only where you can manually adjust roof planes.

    I had to play with this, and somehow I came up with this. It's a Flying Nun roof!!
