    Replacing my Graphic Card

I have got to replace my ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 series graphic card...it just doesn't cut it.

    I'm looking at the EVGA 02G-P3-2637-KM NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 2048MB DDR3 PCIe 2.0 x16 Video Card

I have a Pentium Dual Core CPU E5800 @3.20 GHz, 4.0GB Ram DDR3 system memory using Windows 7 OS 64 bit

I'm not a computer expert and would like someone who understands how important the graphic card selection is to give me some feedback. Thank you.

Lisa, when you say "mobility" does that mean that you are using a laptop? (they are hard to impossible to "upgrade" like a box PC).

I have used "PNY" brand NVIDIA chipped video cards for twenty years with Chief Architect Inc software. Whenever I tried another brand, I was sorry and returned to PNY. You do not have to have the bleeding edge grade video card (which are very expensive). I would suggest that you get a card with 1-2 Gb of its own RAM built into the card and then you should be fine in terms of software performance.

You should also consider power consumption. Be sure your power supply module can power your new card.

The specs you have out there are pretty impressive. What was your existing module?
