Connecting Second Floor Deck to Ground

Hello again forum,
Situation: Create a staircase connecting the ground floor to a deck on the second floor. The staircase is to be recessed inside the deck by two feet.
Problem: After creating an auto stairwell, I can't figure out a way to make the rails connect neatly to the deck or corner posts.

I do not understand why you apparently use the auto-stairwell tool for an exterior stair object. I also do not see any "rails" that are not connected to adjacent rails (no adjacent rails exist in your image).
So I do not understand what you are communicating about or I have misunderstood what you said and so have no useful response to offer.
